Batteries
To keep it simple I usually try to buy equipment that uses normal AA batteries.
Sanyo Eneloop proved to be the best rechargeable batteries I know of.
Sometimes one cannot avaid to use other batteries as well. This is a list of batteries I use.
I use several Technoline BC-900 NiCd/NiMH charger to recharge my Sanyo Eneloop batteries.
I always use the unload/recharge mode and sometimes the refresh mode when the maximum is below 2100mAh.

The most complete list of batteries and its compatability I've found
on the Internet can be seen at
Hans-Martin Hanisch ABCDE Knopfzellen / Fotobatterien.
It is only available in german. Very special thanks goes to Hans-Martin Hanisch
on the excellent job he has done collecting this information.
